Salon Rubaiyat Madrid

The decoration of our spaces is rustic and minimalist. The tables are made of thick slots of Ipe wood, the chairs are made of wrought iron and leather and the wide windows that gives a lot of luminosity to the place.

Since April until October we open our exclusive terraces surrounded by plenty of vegetation and equipped with spraying system that reduce the ambiental temperature until eight degrees less. Certainly, they are the best terraces in Madrid. Enjoy of a friendly and relaxed enviroment with candles, wrought iron tables and marble.

In our menu you can find our best premium cuts of meat, some of our classics as Baby Beef or Picanha, another new ones like Queen Beef made of the best meat of tender heufer and the tasty Kobe Beef from the japanese breed Wagyo together with our traditional  soufflé potatoes. We also will offer you elaborated recipes that give life to exquisite plates, like smashed octopus with potatoes al murro and Tapenade prepared on a mud oven, or fresh and tasty fishes like Chilean salmon with sautéed asparagus and japanese pea.

We also offer ten diferents types of breads, daily cooked in our bakery, since our delicious brazilian Pao de Queijo (cheese bread) to modern recipes of bread with seeds of poppy, bread of cacao or multigrain bread. Do not forget to leave place for our delicious dessets, also home made like our pastry with Argentinian sweet of milk and custard, and our pure chocolate cake Némesis.

Hacienda Rubaiyat

In 1951, Belarmino Fernández Iglesias disembarked in Santo’s Port, in Sao Paulo, coming from a small village in Galicia. In this city, Belarmino started washing plates in the restaurant business, but he was acceding gradually to other positions,

until he become the maitre of the grill house ” A Cabana”, the best restaurant in Sao Paulo of that time. In 1957 Belarmino’s managers invited him to become in a new member of a new establishment called Rubaiyat, located in Vieria de Carvalho Avenue. After five years, in 1962, Belarmino was the only owner of the grill house.

Rubaiyat Madrid opening has an important sense, because symbolize the return of Fernández Iglesias family to Spain, following in Europe the great success they fortunately they had in Latin America.
